Covid 19 - Coronavirus Update

Dear Ah Sam Customers, Friends and Community,

We've missed you and being part of your special celebrations and moments.  A mini boutique of the holidays is open with limited access on Wednesday & Friday 10am - 4pm and Saturday 10am - 3pm. Sorry, the main showroom and greenhouse remain closed.  We are operating in a limited capacity by accepting internet orders placed at AhSam.com and phone orders, 650-341-5611.  We are offering contactless delivery and prepaid pick up  in our parking lot following CDC safety guidelines for the safety of our employees, clients, and our community.  

Ah Sam is delivering products with no contact.  Gifts will be left at the door or in a secure location. Upon returning to their vehicle, our driver will call the recipient letting them know of their gift. Details in another FAQ.  We are operating with minimal staff to maintain social distancing and requiring appropriate hygiene for employees and sanitizing products. Yes, we are delivering Ah Sam gifts with No Contact.  We will contact the recipient the prior day of delivery that their gift will be left at a secure location. 

Please provide us with a good phone number for you and the recipient. 

If the delivery is outside our modified delivery area, we will contact an associate florist and request for contactless delivery. 

This the standard procedure during the current environment. An Ah Sam employee will not make physical contact with the recipient when a delivery is made.  We will first call the recipient the prior day of delivery asking for a secure location where to leave it. Then, call the recipient when it is delivered.. In most cases, we are leaving the delivery at the door and back in our truck before the door is opened. 

Please provide us with a good phone number for you and the recipient. 

 Our drivers have nicknamed it Ring and Run.  

We will first call the recipient the prior day of delivery and again when the item is delivered and where it is. We will leave the package as requested or in a secure location.  The delivery person may if there is no answer at the recipient attempt a call to the sender.  

Ah Sam is practicing no contact delivery and 10-foot social distancing. 

At this time our normal operating procedure of taking a delivery to a neighbor has been suspended. 

Yes, we offer prepaid curbside pick up in our parking lot. 
1. Please park in the designated pick up signs and remain in your car.
2. Call us at 650-274-0395 and let us know your name and vehicle make.
3. We will bring your purchase to the car.   
4. Thank you for shopping with us. 

Each hospital has different guidelines for deliveries. Please confirm with the health care facility before placing an order. We will also be happy to deliver your gift to the recipient's home when they are released from the hospital.  Thank you.
