Desktops can look a little dull after a long winter. They need some brightening up, a nice spring clean and a new plant or flower, if you ask us at Ah Sam Florist. If you’ve got a nice big space and an equally big monitor, let some tulips sidle up right alongside it. Not only will the whole room get to appreciate these towering beauties, but you’ll have something bright and beautiful cheering up your desk. Tulips are easy to care for, too; the bottoms only need to be cut once just a bit of water will do. Watch them open up, getting a little bit more of them every day.

Succulents are an excellent choice for a smaller desk area, as they offer a lot of interest and texture but don’t take up a lot of space. We have many to choose from and in a variety of containers, so you can really make a statement with yours. They’re also hardy types, needing little water and not a great deal of sunlight.
